PUBLIX--A long way since 1930
You are invited to attend the February general membership meeting of the Dade City Garden Club as we welcome a beloved community leader as our featured program. “Publix—A long way since 1930”, will be presented by Laura Adams Brunson, the company Historian. In addition to being the fastest growing and largest employee-owned company in the United States, Publix is listed by Forbes as one of the top 100 companies in which to work. Laura will share the interesting story behind its success and many of the innovations that helped propel this organization to its current position. Door prizes will be awarded, and coupons will be available!
The Dade City Garden Club was established in 1947 and is dedicated to the education of its members and the public in the fields of gardening, horticulture, landscape design, floral design, and environmental awareness. The February 21st program meeting is open to the public and will be held at The Dade City Garden Club at 13630 5th Street; Dade City, FL, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. Light refreshments will be served.
