Kumquat Festival Puts Dade City on the Map

2011 KF 10 1200x714Hopefully, you already know about Kumquats, which are called “the little gold gem of the citrus family”. But do you know what the Kumquat really means to our community?

Join us at our November program meeting, where we will explore the topic, “Kumquat Festival Puts Dade City on the Map,” with speakers John Moors, Executive Director, Greater Dade City Chamber of Commerce and Greg Gude, General Manager, Kumquat Growers, Inc. Come find out all about kumquats and our fair city! There will also be some kumquat ornaments available—if you don’t have one, get one on sale.

The November 21st program meeting is open to the public and will be held at The Dade City Garden Club at 13630 5th Street; Dade City, FL, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. Light refreshments will be served.
