Creative Mass Design Class
The Dade City Garden Club has announced it will be hosting a Floral Design Class to help prepare both garden club members and the community for participation in the garden club’s Flower Show scheduled for Spring 2023. The design technique to be taught is “Creative Mass Design” and the class will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022, from 9 am to 12 Noon at the garden club.
Janice Hamlin, a National Garden Clubs Flower Show Judge and Flower Show Design Instructor, will be teaching this hands-on class. Janice has lived in Florida since early childhood and has always loved plants, flowers, birds, bees, and all things natural. She loves to teach and demonstrate and has exhibited at the World Flower Shows in Boston, Dublin, and Barbados. Seasoned designers and novices, garden club members and non-members are all welcome to attend.
Cost of this hands-on class is $20. Registration is currently open and the completed registration form as well as a check made payable to the Dade City Garden Club must be submitted by November 1st or sooner as space is limited.
The Dade City Garden Club was established in 1947 and is dedicated to the education of its members and the public in the fields of gardening, horticulture, landscape design, floral design, and environmental awareness.
