The Dade City Garden Club invites you to Plant A Tree!
The Dade City Garden Club is currently accepting orders for trees to be planted and dedicated on Arbor Day, scheduled for Thursday, April 28, 2022. This is a perfect opportunity to plant a living tribute to honor a memory, a celebration, or to recognize a special person or event.
The Dade City Garden Club Memorial Tree Program was created in support of The City’s Tree City USA designation and is co-sponsored by both the Dade City Garden Club and the City of Dade City. Since 1994, approximately 425 trees have been planted throughout Dade City, which provide a living and lasting tribute to the honored recipients.
The January 29th Event has been canceled.

Fall 2022 (TBA)—The Color Orange
The Dade City Garden Club is happy to announce it will be hosting a Floral Design Class Series in 2022 to help prepare both the membership and the community for successful participation is the Club’s Flower Show scheduled for Spring 2023. The Series will consist of three classes in total and attendees will be able to attend any one or all three.
The first class in the series is scheduled for Saturday, January 29, 2022, at the Dade City Garden Club from 9:30 am to 2 pm and will cover Creative Line and Creative Line Mass design. Creative Line arrangements are characterized by their minimalist design, using only a few plant materials to emphasize the beauty of either the flowers or foliage. Creative Line Mass uses additional plant material and/or other optional components to add strength and depth to the design. This class will be taught by Janice Hamlin, a National Garden Club Flower Show judge/Instructor and a member of Creative Floral Arrangers of the Americas and Florida State Florists with Janice sharing knowledge and tips helpful to both newbies and experienced designers. All are welcome!

Dade City is getting "Uncorked", and you are invited!
The Dade City Garden Club invites you to “Uncorked”, an afternoon adventure in wine, food, music, and craft beer! Our unique tasting experience will be held on Saturday, November 13th, from 2 pm to 5 pm, and will offer guests an opportunity to not only sip wine but taste craft beer, nibble deliciously paired appetizers, win unique prizes, and enjoy festive music, all while strolling the beautiful gardens of the Dade City Garden Club.
Six stations will feature three whites and three reds—all great tasting wines from Argentina, Germany, Italy, Spain and California. Our own wine consultant, Time for Wine, will also have a few “surprise” wines in reserve for tasting at the event. Another station will feature craft beers from Dade City Brew House for the enjoyment of guests. In addition to having drinks poured by our own “Celebrity” pourers, guests will be able to nosh on appropriately paired gourmet appetizers at each station.
The Front Porch
Our 2021 Ornament is The Dade City Garden Club “Front Porch.”
The design exhibits the Club’s Symbols that have special meaning to our Garden Club. Our Flower is the Camellia representing love, affection and admiration. Symbolizing sweet dreams and harmony is our Wildflower, the Phlox. Colorful Monarchs in the design support our belief in life, change, and endurance. Lovely Bluebirds symbolize the essence of life and beauty. The Bluebirds are holding a “WELCOME” sign to signify that all are welcome to join the Garden Club.
